Horton Archery, located in Akron, Ohio, manufactures and distributes crossbows recognized by hunting enthusiasts for their precision, performance, and reliability. Horton championed the innovation of the modern crossbow over 50 years ago.
In 2009, TGV Partners and Wild Communications acquired substantially all the assets of Horton Archery, the Outdoor industry’s oldest and leading producer of premium crossbows and archery equipment. The purchase included both of Horton Archery’s Akron, Ohio and Changzhou, China facilities, which produce all of the company’s products.
