Peter joined TGV in early 2007 as an associate partner. Prior to TGV, Peter served as Group Director for the Outdoor Retailer and Fly Fishing Retailer trade show operations of Nielsen Business Media where he managed the largest business-to-business trade events for the Outdoor and Fly Fishing industries worldwide. Peter’s background includes twenty years of senior management experience with leading consumer brands, including Ralph Lauren, TYR sport, and Nordstrom. Peter served as Director of Stores for each of Polo Ralph Lauren and for Nordstrom, where he was responsible for the Orange County Store Group with $400M in annual revenues and over 3,500 staff personnel. Peter also brings significant expertise in merchandising and global sourcing, including experience building the international product development and sourcing program for Nordstrom’s Private Label clothing line.

Peter has served on the Board of Directors of Outdoor Industry Association, and worked closely with the Trade Association of Paddlesports and the American Fly Fishing Trade Association while serving as Group Director of Nielsen’s trade shows for these industries.  Peter is an avid fly angler, mountain biker, and runner. He received his B.A. in Business and Marketing from Washington State University, and serves as an adjunct professor of Business at Orange Coast College.
