Ryan joined TGV in 2007 as a principal. Ryan began his career in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where, as an analyst and then associate, he directly advised middle market clients in over $1 billion of M&A transactions. After DLJ, Ryan joined the private equity firm Carlyle Group, where he helped start Carlyle’s telecom real estate investment subsidiary, CRG West. During his time at CRG West, Ryan played an integral role in the firm’s real estate acquisitions as well as negotiating and executing strategic telecom partnerships. Ryan received a B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Ryan has strategically and financially advised senior management teams in a wide spectrum of industries, including retail, food service, aerospace, hospitality, travel and telecommunications.
